We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the journey of AL Offroad and Adventure XD. AL Offroad Products's assets have been acquired by Xtrusion Overland's parent company, Adventure XD. This acquisition is not just a change in ownership, but a step forward towards a brighter and more innovative future for AL Offroad Products. The new company will be operated under XTR Offroad Designs LLC based in Wichita, Kansas.
A New Era for AL Offroad
Founded in 2020 by Scott Phillips and his sons, AL Offroad has been a name synonymous with quality and innovation in the offroad market. However, with a desire to focus more on his family, Scott Phillips has chosen to transition the company into capable hands. We are excited to announce that Adventure XD, known for its groundbreaking products and exceptional manufacturing capabilities, is the perfect fit for this new chapter.
Adventure XD: A Legacy of Innovation
Adventure XD, established by Alan, Bacheus, and Jon, has been at the forefront of the offroad and overland markets. Their first product, the XTR1 from Xtrusion Overland, revolutionized bed rack configurations, showcasing their commitment to innovation and quality. With their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Wichita, Kansas, Adventure XD is poised to elevate the product offerings of AL Offroad while maintaining a US Based manufacturing principle.
Enhancing Product Lines and Customer Experience
AL Offroad's popular Trailgates and Roof Racks will seamlessly integrate with Adventure XD's other brands, promising an enhanced range of products for our customers. The combined resources in design, manufacturing, marketing and e-commerce mean improved customer service and a more robust product lineup.
What This Means for Our Customers
AL Offroad will continue to operate under its brand for the time being, until we finalize a rebranding strategy that aligns with our new goals under the newly formed company XTR Offroad Designs. We have given assurances to all AL Offroad customers that the transition of operations will be smooth, and all backorders from AL Offroad will be fully supported by Adventure XD's manufacturing branch, XD Metalworks and operated by XTR Offroad Designs LLC. Xtrusion Overland will continue to operate independently and offering its own roof rack line up as a more premium offering, while XTR Offroad Designs will bring sheet metal products at a more affordable price point.
