We design and manufacture high quality aluminum and stainless-steel overland roof racks, and cargo solutions for serious adventurers. Every product is built using aerospace-grade manufacturing — because the same precision that goes into aircraft components belongs on the gear that takes you off-grid.
Our Story
XTR Offroad is a family-owned business founded in Wichita, Kansas in 2020 by Alan Reyes, a design engineer with deep experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and operations, and Bacheus Jabara, a serial entrepreneur with expertise in marketing and product management.
We're just two outdoor enthusiasts who got tired of overland gear that looked great in photos but cut corners in the details. So we decided to build the gear we wanted — and the team grew.
In 2021, Jon Fuller joined us, bringing extensive background in engineering and automation. His passion for the outdoors and deep technical skills made him one of our earliest supporters, and he continues to lead creative projects, product development, and customer support.
On December 15, 2023, AL Offroad's assets were formally acquired by Adventure XD LLC, from AL Offroad by the parent company of Xtrusion Overland, XD Metalworks, and XTR Offroad Designs — unified under one family of brands with a shared mission: build overland gear that actually works.
After redesigning our roof rack line and bringing production in-house, we evolved from a product line into the brand you know today — XTR Offroad.

Alan Reyes
Co-Founder & Design Engineer, Xtrusion Overland
Background in manufacturing, supply chain, and operations. Leads product design and manufacturing processes for all Xtrusion Overland brands. Alan brings the engineering rigor from aerospace and industrial manufacturing to every component we produce.
Bacheus Jabara
Co-Founder, Xtrusion Overland
Serial entrepreneur focused on marketing, product management, and customer experience. Brings a deep understanding of what overlanders actually need — and how to deliver it.
Jon Fuller
Engineering & Automation Lead (Joined 2021)
Engineering and automation specialist. His passion for the outdoors and deep technical skills led him to join the Xtrusion team early. He continues to lead creative product projects, manufacturing improvements, and customer support.

Overland roof racks, bed racks, and cargo solutions. Our flagship product line — built in the USA from 7075 aluminum and stainless steel.
Xtrusion Overland
Modular T-slot aluminum systems including the XTR1 and XTR3 bed racks, crossbar kits, and the XO.SKLTN modular topper system.
XD Metalworks
Custom metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing solutions.
AL Offroad Products
The original brand and product line. Its assets were acquired in December 2023, and its product designs are now produced under the XTR Offroad name.
